All content, design, features, and functionality of ClearIngredient — including but not limited to the application name, logo, wordmark, lens icon, color palette, interface design, written content, ingredient database, educational materials, and software code — are the exclusive intellectual property of ClearIngredient and its operators, protected under United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The following are proprietary to ClearIngredient and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without express written permission:

• Brand assets: The ClearIngredient name, logo, tagline ("Know What You Eat"), and visual identity
• The Food Detective brand: The personal brand of Mike J. operating under "The Food Detective" persona
• Educational content: Ingredient breakdowns, safety ratings, Ingredient of the Week content, and all written analysis
• Application design: The UI design, user experience, color system, and layout
• Software: The underlying code, algorithms, and AI prompt systems that power ClearIngredient

Your use of ClearIngredient grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not include the right to:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any ClearIngredient content without attribution and written permission
• Create derivative works based on ClearIngredient content, design, or software
• Use the ClearIngredient name, logo, or brand assets in any commercial context
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices on the application
• Use ClearIngredient content to train AI models or machine learning systems

ClearIngredient complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content appearing on ClearIngredient infringes your copyright, submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include all of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the affected user.

If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentified as infringing, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

• Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
• Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your district and will accept service of process from the original complainant
• Your physical or electronic signature

Send counter-notices to contact@clearingredient.app with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice." Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed content after 10–14 business days unless the complainant seeks a court order.

ClearIngredient maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We will terminate a user's account upon receiving three or more valid DMCA takedown notices associated with that account within a 12-month period.

ClearIngredient and The Food Detective are trademarks of Mike J. All other trademarks, product names, company names, and logos mentioned within the application are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in ClearIngredient does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.

The fast food chain names and restaurant brands referenced in the Fast Food Lookup feature are trademarks of their respective companies. ClearIngredient is an independent educational tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any restaurant brand featured in the application.
