The short version: You can cancel anytime. We offer a 7-day refund window for new subscriptions. After that window, we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. No hidden fees, no runaround — just contact us and we'll take care of it.
ClearIngredient offers two premium subscription tiers:
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email before any renewal charge is processed.
All payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at checkout.
You may cancel your ClearIngredient subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. To cancel:
When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to premium features through that date. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
Cancellations requested by email will be processed within 2 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation has been processed.
We want you to feel confident subscribing to ClearIngredient. Here is a clear breakdown of when refunds are and are not available:

We will respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
For annual subscribers, we will send a renewal reminder email at least 7 days before your annual renewal date. This gives you ample time to cancel if you do not wish to renew for another year.
If you miss the reminder and are charged for renewal, you may contact us within 48 hours of the charge for a review. We will consider these requests on a case-by-case basis.
If you wish to downgrade from an annual plan to a monthly plan, or from premium to free, please contact us at contact@clearingredient.app. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for downgrading mid-cycle.
If ClearIngredient offers a free trial period in the future, the terms of that trial will be clearly communicated at sign-up. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription rate. Refunds for charges immediately following a free trial are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer, please contact us first at contact@clearingredient.app. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly, and most disputes can be resolved within 1–2 business days.
Initiating a chargeback for a charge that is eligible for a refund through our normal process may result in suspension of your account until the dispute is resolved.
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the application with an updated "Last Updated" date. Active subscribers will be notified of any material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
